Which Wax to use:
- PARASOY with 6% FO
- 450g Paraffin & 50g Coconut oil with 3- 5% FO
How to use:
- Select the correct wicks from the LX Range
- Gently piece a hole using a tapestray needle through the centre of the mould pulling the wick through with it
- Apply Prestic/moulding clay next to the pieced whole
- Prepare your work area with some news papers or an old towel to avoid making a mess with wax & fragrance
- Melt the desired wax as per the instruction on the wax
Unmolding
- Wait for +- 3 hours before demolding and cure for 12 hours to a week
- Remove any prestic or moulding clay
- Trim wicks on both sides, leave the top wick a bit longer for any designs you would like to create
Note to candle makers:
- Place moulds on towels or something more softer during pouring
- 2 -3 pours due to paraffin was’s shrinking characteristic
- Keep a close eye to the mould for any sinkholes that may appear and be sure to use a toothpick
This is based on inhouse testing and we recommend that you do your own testing with correct amount of wax, colour and fragrance. Use a thermometer to get the correct wax temparature
